Student Scholarships
Support SEBTS HomepageStudent Scholarships

Your gift to student scholarships frees up our students to invest more of their time into their ministries and families. In some cases, your scholarship makes the difference as to whether or not a student can attend Southeastern to prepare for ministry. As a result, your contribution to student scholarships blesses students, their families, and their churches.
We want to grow our student scholarships to the point that every eligible student has at least one class paid for every semester. With current enrollment, we need around $55 million additional dollars in student scholarships to reach this goal. Will you consider creating a new scholarship or supporting an existing scholarship to help students prepare to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission?

“Dear Gracious Donor,
I was born in South Asia into a Christian family. My father is a pastor of a small village church. My mother, myself, and my three sisters have served in ministry along with my father for many years. God has been faithful to call my heart to ministry and has given me a desire for discipleship amongst my community. I had the opportunity to immigrate to the USA through my wife. We have been married over 8 years and, by God’s miracle, just welcomed our first son. Both my wife and I currently serve in our international church locally and continue to support my family’s ministry in South Asia. I am currently serving as an associate pastor in our home church in the USA, but it is our hope and desire to return to South Asia after my studies to continue supporting the church in evangelism and discipleship amongst South Asian communities. I am so thankful for the opportunity to receive a scholarship for my studies. Your generosity has allowed me to focus on theological preparation for my current and future ministry without worry about the financial burden. Thank you and may continue to bless your investment to expand the kingdom of God.
Thank you,
Simon Thudumu”
