The Worship Training Network provides accredited education in flexible formats that fit your lifestyle. We encourage students to learn in community with others—whether on our campus in North Carolina, through one of our partner locations, or online. Plus, our wide variety of degree programs offer something for everyone. For every level of interest and experience, if you have a desire to grow in worship ministry skills, we can help. The Worship Training Network also benefits ministry leaders by connecting them to other like-minded leaders for mutual edification. You’ll get access to a network of local church leaders who pursue worship ministry and worship development with God-centered, Bible-saturated perspectives. We hope and pray that our programs will enable you to become a more passionate worshiper, a more faithful disciple, and a more effective leader.
-
The Worship Training Network is primarily for degree-seeking students and partner churches. However, we also provide events and resources for anyone who loves Christian worship and desires to lead faithfully in the local church.
-
Some of our degree programs have musical standards and proficiencies, while others do not. However, none of our degrees require musical skills for entering students. If you want to learn more about leading musical worship, we have programs to help you hone those skills. At the same time, we also offer degree programs for non-musicians to think more intentionally about matters of personal and corporate worship.
-
No, the Worship Training Network is open to students of many different denominational backgrounds. However, students who are members at a Southern Baptist church receive discounts on tuition. Furthermore, churches looking to partner with us to facilitate courses must align with selected confessions of faith.
-
Not necessarily. The Worship Training Network exists to make robust worship development more accessible for everyone, wherever you live and serve. In general, our courses and programs are accessible to residential students and distance learning students. Our programs offer a mix of online and in-person education that enhances the learning experience for all students. When travel is required, we do our best to make it valuable and manageable for students. If travel options are limited for the student, we are also eager to consider creative options to help students meet the requirements for their academic goals.
