Doctor of Education

The Doctor of Education program at Southeastern is a 60-hour, advanced and terminal degree program that challenges students to achieve their best in a flexible, yet rigorous program created to shape and prepare leaders in education and ministry. It focuses on both the theory and practice of education within church, school and university settings.

**Effective January 19th, 2023, the MAT is no longer required for admission. The MAT will be phased out by the end of 2023 and will no longer be offered; we have decided not to replace that as a requirement and to go ahead and remove it from our application rather than cause undue burden on prospective students to find a testing site.
